How do I find a business near me?
Enter a town or postcode, or tap "Near me" and allow location access. You can narrow the results by species, language spoken in the team, region and speciality, and see everything on the map at the same time.
Do I need an account to search?
No. Searching, reading profiles and calling a business all work without signing up. An account only becomes useful once you want to keep track of appointments or write to one.
How are the results ordered?
When you search around a place, the nearest business comes first — the plan a business pays for makes no difference there. When you type words into the search box, they narrow the list and what is left is ordered by name; nothing is ranked by how well it matches. In the plain directory listing, businesses on a paid plan are sorted above free entries, and inside each group the order is reshuffled every day so the same business is not permanently on top. Separately labelled paid placements sit outside that list altogether. The whole thing is written out on our ranking page.
Who can write a review, and what happens to it?
Only a signed-in customer with an appointment at that business which is recorded as completed. The appointment is matched on the server, never taken from the browser. Every review is read by a person before it appears, a rejection needs a ground from a published list, and the person who wrote it is told which one. The business can reply in public but cannot hide, delete or reorder anything.
Can I search in my own language?
The site is available in Luxembourgish, German, French, English and Portuguese, and you can filter for businesses whose team speaks your language.
What do the labels on a profile mean?
They are things a business ticks about itself: what it has, what it offers, whether it comes to you. We do check who a business is before it may edit its entry — either through an e-mail address on its own domain or through a document we read by hand — but we do not check the individual labels, so read them as what the business says about itself, not as something we verified.
This matters most in an emergency: do not pick a practice because its profile says "24-hour service". Who is actually on duty tonight is published as a roster, and that is the answer to trust.

Booking & appointments
8 questions
How do I book an appointment?
Open a business profile, choose a service and a free time, then enter your details. You get a confirmation with a calendar file you can add to your own calendar.
Can I book without an account?
Yes, booking works as a guest. With a free account you keep an overview of your appointments and can cancel them yourself.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
Use the link in your confirmation, or cancel under "My appointments" in your account. Please cancel as early as you can — the slot then goes back to somebody else who needs it.
Why does a business show "no online appointments"?
Not every business books online. Where a business has given us a phone number, it is on its profile — please call them directly. For most of our basic entries we do not have one yet; the profile says so, and you can send us the number if you know it.
My animal needs help right now. What do I do?
Do not book online. Call straight away. The on-call practices run a 24-hour service that starts at 08:00 and ends at 08:00 the next morning; you reach the vet on duty through 112 or Post Infotel on 26 77 12 34, and the list of who is on duty is published by the Collège Vétérinaire. Call before you set off, because the vet on duty may not be at the practice yet. If you describe something that sounds like an emergency while booking, we say so and show you this instead of taking the appointment.
What is a deposit and when is it asked for?
Paying a deposit through this site is not possible at the moment. If a business asks for one, they will arrange it with you directly.
How do I book a stay of several days?
A boarding house is not booked by the hour. You pick a place, a date of arrival and a date of collection, and the price is made of the nights in between — the day you collect the animal is not a night, which is why four days away costs three. Two animals sharing one place count once, not twice. A stay can run up to 60 nights and be made up to a year ahead; longer than that is a conversation with the business rather than a form.
Can I ask for a repeat prescription or diet food without an appointment?
Where your practice offers it, yes — you ask and the practice decides. Your request goes into their queue and you hear back by mail when it is approved, declined or ready to collect.
Two things this is not: nothing is sold or dispensed on this platform, and it is not a way to reach a practice you have never been to. You can only ask a practice you have booked with, because whether a repeat is right for your animal is a decision only somebody who knows it can make.
Your account and your data
5 questions
What does the platform know about my animal?
What you enter when booking: the animal, the reason for the visit and your contact details. Medical records stay with your practice — they are not on this platform and we cannot see them.
Can I get my data or have it deleted?
Yes. Both are in your account under "Privacy": one button exports everything we hold about you, another asks for your account to be deleted — we handle that within 30 days. Bookings a business still needs for its own records stay with that business.
Can I write to a business here?
If the business has messages switched on and you have had an appointment there, yes. Otherwise use the phone number on its profile, where one is on record. Please do not use messages for anything urgent.
Can I leave a review?
Only after an appointment you actually had, and every review is read before it appears. That is slower than posting instantly, and it is the reason the reviews here mean something.
Will I be reminded when a vaccination is due?
Only if you asked to be. Where your practice keeps the due dates for your animal, we write to you about two weeks before one falls due — and only to people who have agreed to be contacted. You can withdraw that at any time in your account and the reminders stop with it.
A reminder says something is due. It is not a booked appointment — you still choose the time yourself.

My business is already listed. Who put it there?
Basic entries come from publicly available business information so that pet owners find you at all. Claim yours and you decide what it says — or ask us to remove it.
How do I claim my business?
Open your profile and choose "This is my business". With an e-mail address on your business domain the confirmation is immediate; otherwise upload proof of ownership and we check it by hand.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. Every business gets 14 days of Gold — every feature, free, no card needed, counted from the first time you open your console. Afterwards you keep whichever plan you have chosen, including the free one.
Do I have to take online bookings?
No. Many businesses only want a good entry with opening hours and contact details. Online booking is a plan feature you switch on when you want it.
I am not a vet. Does this fit a salon, a boarding house, a sitter or a dog walker?
Yes. The entry, the opening hours, being found and being booked work the same for all of them.
What differs is what a trade is asked to carry. Only veterinary practices are given the emergency questions, the on-call notice, repeat prescriptions and vaccination reminders — because only they can answer them, and putting them on a salon would be a promise nobody made. A boarding house gets overnight places and dates in place of a slot calendar. A salon, a sitter and a dog walker are booked by the appointment, like everybody else.
I want to do this privately on the side — walking dogs, sitting animals. Can I list myself?
You can ask to be listed. The form creates an entry nobody can see yet, we confirm your e-mail address, and somebody reads the entry before it goes live.
Being listed is not the same as being allowed. Whether you may offer a service, and on what conditions, follows from rules we neither wrote nor check — we do not ask you for a permit, and an entry here is not evidence that you hold one. What those rules are is worth reading before you start.

Do I have to declare what I earn from it, and register anywhere?
That turns on one word: occasional. Income from occasional services is not taxable below 500 euros net a year. Once the work becomes regular it is a trade instead, and that line stops applying at all — however small the amount.
Social security is a separate question with its own answer: below a third of the social minimum wage you can be exempted, but you have to ask, and being exempt from a contribution means being uninsured for that risk. We cannot advise you on any of this. The article below says which four administrations decide what, so you can ask the right one.

Your calendar
5 questions
Do I have to keep two calendars in step?
You set your opening hours and services once, and availability is worked out from them together with your existing appointments. You can also block a period out — for holidays, or to enter something by phone.
Can two people book the same slot?
No. A booking is written inside a database transaction that locks the slot, so the second request is refused and offered the next free times instead.
I let places overnight. How does the calendar count them?
By the place and by the night, not by the appointment. Each place has a capacity, and a stay holds it for every night from arrival up to — but not including — the day of collection. Two stays may therefore meet on that day without colliding, which is how a place is let twice in one week without ever being oversold.
Two animals in one place count once. When every place is taken for a night, those nights stop being bookable on their own — you do not have to close them by hand.
Can I see my appointments in my own calendar app?
Yes, through a private feed link — for the whole business or per member of staff. It is read-only: a change in your calendar app does not change the booking.
Does this replace the software I already run my business on?
No, and it is not trying to. This handles the way clients find you and book with you. Records, invoicing and stock stay where they are.
Plans and billing
4 questions
Are the prices net or gross?
Prices are net; VAT is added on the invoice. As a business you can usually reclaim it. Under each price you also see the amount including 17% Luxembourg VAT – what the plan costs if your business is not VAT-registered.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, monthly. Your entry stays — you drop back to the free plan and keep the profile, the opening hours and the contact details.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged. Your business simply goes back to the plan you are on. While the trial runs, the console tells you exactly which features you are using that your own plan does not include.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Card and bank transfer both work; with a transfer we activate the plan once the payment arrives.
Visibility and fairness
5 questions
Does a higher plan move me up the results?
Those are two different things. Your plan does weight the plain directory listing: paid plans sort above free entries, though inside each tier the order still rotates daily. A search around a place goes by distance whatever you pay, and a search by typed words filters the list and then orders what is left by name — there is no relevance score anywhere. A paid placement is the other thing — an extra, clearly labelled slot above the results that leaves the ordinary list untouched and only appears for searches your business actually matches.
Can I have a bad review removed?
Not because it is bad. You can reply to it in public, and you can report it — a report puts it in front of a person, it does not hide it. A review is only taken down on one of the published grounds, for instance an untrue statement of fact, an insult, or no appointment behind it. You cannot moderate, hide or reorder reviews about your own business, and neither the order they appear in nor their visibility depends on your plan.
Who owns the data I enter?
You do. You can export your bookings as a CSV at any time, and closing your account takes your entry with it.
Can I stop clients writing to me here?
Yes, in the settings. Conversations you already have stay readable and anyone you wrote to can still answer, so nobody is left mid-conversation. New clients see your phone number instead.
What do I get for recommending a colleague?
If a business you invited becomes a paying customer, you get a month on us. You send the invitation yourself, from your own mailbox — we never write to anyone on your behalf.
Nothing matches that. Try another word, or get in touch below.
